It was another great weekend for the 'Jersey Prize Team' that included beautiful weather and fun, energetic fans!

We kicked off the weekend in Lawrenceville visiting some retired veterans at the American Legion #414 Memorial Day Picnic. Families were asked to come celebrate the accomplishments of their Veterans while viewing an array of vintage and classic collectable cars and motorcycles. While people were observing the automobile show we awarded some lucky fans with Hurricane Harbor tickets as well as a $50 gift certificate to our favorite Italian restaurant, Piccolo Trattoria!

The next day began bright and early at the Winfield Scott Plaza for the 9th Annual Tour de Elizabeth sponsored by Groundwork Elizabeth. This 15-mile fun ride has gained riders throughout the years; increasing their participants from 500 to 750 riders this year! It was a great day for riders, as well as spectators, to come win some great tickets from us and enjoy the historic architecture of Elizabeth.

We than arrived mid-afternoon in Highland Park for the 22nd Annual Highland Park Street Fair which featured something for everyone in the family. With dozens of vendors and artists as well as music, food, games and rides, we had a blast interacting with the locals of this energetic area. While we were searching the crowd for Highland Park's best screamers to win free Six Flags Great Adventure tickets, we were also giving away a free pair of Yankee's tickets. There were many anxious Yankee fans waiting to sign up! The hula hoop contest and New Jersey trivia winners were given Trenton Thunder and Lakewood Blueclaw tickets.

Meanwhile, in Somerset County, other members of the 'Jersey Prize Team' was quizzing locals in "Name

That Tune" at the Bernardsville Street Fair. The kids loved our multiple hula-hoop contest, where we awarded Trenton Thunder tickets to the most talented hula-hooper. We were shocked at how many kids can hula-hoop better than our staff! We wrapped up the day playing "speed-bump" with contestants who won some great movie tickets.
