Last night during the 10pm hour Steve did a topic on local Jersey music. It was a star-studded hour, including former Bruce Springsteen  drummer Vini "Mad Dog" Lopez, the head of the Asbury Angels and one of the all-time great NJ performers, Southside Johnny called into the show as well. Steve asked the listeners to call in with some of their favorite unsigned bands in NJ. Right in the middle of the hour, one of the legends of Asbury Park and NJ music, Southside Johnny called in and discussed everything from growing Jersey tomatoes to performing with Bruce Springsteen.

Here is the first part of the interview with Southside, discussing gardens, his new music, the best Asbury Park musicians and even the Rolling Stones:

Part 2 of the interview has Steve and Southside talking about his performances with Bruce and how The Boss performed recently with Paul McCartney.
