State Police Suspend Search For Missing Boater

New Jersey State Police have suspended their search for a police officer who went missing from his boat off the coast of Wildwood.

Middle Township patrolman Jason Sill of Cape May was last seen in his boat around 11 a.m. Monday. But an hour later, another boater reported finding his boat unoccupied.

State police say a decision will be made Friday whether to search any further. The Coast Guard had suspended its search late Tuesday.
