Police say five men we found living inside the empty home of a deployed U.S. armed service member, living in "deplorable" conditions.

"There was evidence of partying, along with urine and feces everywhere," Englewood police said in a statement released after the arrests.

The men were found in the home Sunday after police arrested one of the alleged squatters, Carlos Rosales-Campos, 18, in the U.S. illegally from El Salvador, on armed robbery charges, Englewood police said.

It's not known how long the five men, most of whom are homeless, had been living in the Lafayette Avenue house, police said. NorthJersey.com reported it belongs to a female soldier who has lived out of state for an unknown amount of time.

Police said they found four more men on the third flood: Rosalio Valencia-Hernandez, 49, of Englewood; Rene Contreras-Ixtla, 39, of Englewood; Evaristo Chavez, 34, of Teaneck; and Oswaldo Meneses-Arango, 47, of Englewood;

Valencia-Hernandez, Contreras-Ixtla and Chavez are also in the country illegally, all originally from Mexico, Police said. Meneses-Arango is a permanent United States resident from Colombia, they said.

All of the men were charged with fourth-degree criminal trespass. All but Rosales-Campos were taken to to the Bergen County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail, police said.

Rosales-Campos is facing more charges and is being held at the Bergen County Jail in lieu of $500,000 bail, after police say they found "A significant amount of the stolen merchandise" linking him to other crimes in recent months — including armed robbery with a gun and burglary. Those alleged crimes include stealing cash registers from local stores and burglarizing a diner.

He's additionally charged with one count of armed robbery, one count of second-degree possession of a weapon with intent to use against a person, one count of second-degree illegal handgun possession, six counts of third-degree burglary, one count of third-degree attempted burglary, several counts of theft, one count of fourth-degree possession of a fraudulent government I.D. and one count fourth-degree criminal trespass.
