It was just two days ago that I wrote an article about how wonderful an event the Winter Classic has become. Less than a day later news broke that two New York Rangers fans were beaten up by two Philadelphia Flyers fans in a fight outside of the famed Geno's Steaks in Philadelphia.

This is just another big black eye on the sports world. It was only recently that a Jets fan was severely beaten outside Metlife Stadium after the Jets/Chiefs game. Now this. Check out the footage of the fight:

I'm a die hard sports fan, one that loves that going to the games and enjoying the experience but is it just getting too dangerous to go to a game and root as any normal fan would for their favorite team? Granted this latest episode did not happen at the event, but it's just another example of how a small percentage of bad fans can ruin the experience for everyone. The best seat may truly be in your house.

Have recent fights/brawls at sporting events started giving you second thoughts about going to watch the games in person?
