This is kind of creepy but cool at the same time; there exists software that can listen to a few words you've spoken and determine your mood, personality and other traits.

According to The Week, this new type of software known as "artificial empathy" is used by call centers to pair callers with customer service reps who have similar styles or traits. The program is called Mattersight and is supposed to be able to zero in on your personality, level of empathy, and more all while running in the background and after only a few seconds. It is a system that analyzes what you say and how you say it. I don't know why the call centers don't just ask you what style of rep you want. I want one who speaks English well, understands the product, and knows how to find the information I need.
