Should Twitter be Policing Hate Speech? [POLL]

Do you use twitter? Have you ever tweeted hateful messages? Do you think that Twitter should be monitoring their site for hateful speech, just as Facebook and YouTube do?

Twitter is planning a global expansion after its $1.6 billion Goldman Sachs-led IPO, the most hyped since Facebook in 2012. Twitter’s IPO could give the firm an $11 billion market cap.

As the company lines up investors for it’s Nov 7^th initial public offering, racists and terrorists groups are flooding twitter with hate filled rants. Should a company that is about to be publicly traded allow its users to post offensive material?

Twitter’s responded by claiming: “As a policy, we don’t mediate content or intervene in disputes between users." What are your opinions about this? Do you think twitter should be policing hate speech?
