Should Stores Open on Thanksgiving for Black Friday? [POLL]

Many Americans take advantage of the sales that take place on Black Friday, and get most of their holiday shopping done. Each year, the sales seem to be starting earlier and earlier.

Some stores are opening their doors to shoppers as early as 6 pm on Thanksgiving! This is unusual for people of older generations, who are used to shops being closed to observe the holiday.

Do you think it is a good idea for stores to open this early on Thanksgiving? Are the deals they are offering worth leaving your dinner early for? Or, do you think it is important for families to stay at home and celebrate Thanksgiving?
