If you were Gov. Christie, would you sign a bill to make gun laws even tougher in New Jersey? This decision would reduce the permitted capacity of ammunition magazines from 15 to 10 rounds. It passed the state senate on Monday, by a vote of 22-17.

Do you believe this really makes a difference in saving lives, or is it just political pandering? If you’re a gun owner, how long does it take you to change a clip?

There’s intense pressure coming from both sides of the argument. Parents of Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims have come to Trenton twice to push for the legislation. They may show up again for the expected final Assembly vote, said Bryan Miller, executive director of the faith-based anti-violence organization Heeding God’s Call.

On the other side are the gun rights advocates, who have packed legislative hearings, and suggest signing the bill will end Christie’s potential 2016 presidential bid.

What’s a Governor to do? You may get some insight on that tonight at 7, when Christie comes into our studios for New Jersey 101.5’s “Ask The Governor.”

What would you do?
