Videos such as this one may just restore your faith in mankind. The video is proof that there are people who exist that aren't just wrapped up in their own lives and there are those who take the time to recognize others and thank them for their service to this country.

An amazing thing happened in the middle of a 408K race for the Pat Tillman Foundation, which was raising money for higher education for military veterans.

A local WWII vet, Joe Bell, stood outside his home in uniform, clapping and watching the runners go by. In what was the ultimate show of respect, many of the runners stopped and came over to shake the hand of this Word War II vet.

The 408K is an 8K race which is named after former NFL star Pat Tillman (#40)  who retired from from football to serve his country and died in service.
