Romney Sweeps Tuesday Primaries [POLL/VIDEO]
Mitt Romney is turning away from his primary opponents and toward Democratic President Barack Obama after sweeping three more Republican contests.
Today Romney is set to take the same stage that Obama used to attack his likely Republican rival in a speech to newspaper editors in Washington. The former Massachusetts governor plans to address the Newspaper Association of America, a day after Obama spoke to the annual meeting of The Associated Press.

Romney won primaries in Maryland, Wisconsin and the District of Columbia on Tuesday, widening his delegate lead over rival Rick Santorum. He's calling the election a "basic choice" between Obama's views and his own.

Rick Santorum says the Republican race to the White House is only half over, despite his losing Tuesday's GOP primaries in Wisconsin, Maryland and the District of Columbia to rival Mitt Romney.
Romney now has 58 percent of primary and caucus delegates needed for the Republican nomination.
Gingrich vows to stay in GOP campaign until Tampa
Newt Gingrich says he has no intention of leaving the Republican presidential race.
Gingrich says he's carrying the banner of bold conservative colors all the way to the GOP convention in Tampa, Fla. to ensure, "the Republican Party never abandons the timeless conservative principles."
