Ray’s Heroes of the Day: Police, firemen, EMTs on National Night Out

Every day we give props to some person or people who do extraordinary things for others – sometimes at great cost.

I’d be remiss if on this occasion of National Night Out, I didn’t give props to the brave men and women who serve us as police, firemen, and EMTs.

Tonight I’ll be at the Target in Manalapan at 6 to introduce you to some of them; as they will be demonstrating some of the latest equipment and techniques they use in fighting crime, helping those in distress, and fighting fires.

Plus there will be members of the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office there to ask for your assistance in being vigilant against crime, and ask for your help in solving the two gruesome homicides this past weekend in Long Branch.
