The snow that fell overnight has caused some New Jersey districts to delay or close school on Friday.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Monmouth, Ocean, Atlantic, Cumberland, Cape May, Morris, Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex, Mercer, Salem, Gloucester, Camden and  Burlington counties until noon for snow that will end by noon.

Meteorologist Dan Zarrow expects the heaviest snow (and therefore fastest accumulations) between 7 and 8 a.m. Friday. We could then see a brief transition back to light rain/mix, before precipitation ends completely around late Friday morning. A total of 2 to 4 inches of snow should fall from this storm with high amounts to the south and east and along the shore.

Because of the timing of the snow, many districts could make a late or last-minute decision about Friday's classes, so check back if your school isn't yet listed.

Check back frequently, as the list will be updated throughout the morning

Our closing list is continuously updated at NJ1015.com/closings and in the New Jersey 101.5 mobile app.
