State Police Sgt. Brian Polite tells the South Jersey Times that a man was walking along a road at about 8 p.m. Friday in Cumberland County when he was struck by a truck.

Polite says the driver stayed at the scene in Stow Creek Township until police arrived. He wasn't hurt.

The victim's name hasn't been released.

KYW-TV reports that it's the second pedestrian death in the county in two days. A 54-year-old woman was run over by a New Jersey Transit bus in Bridgeton on Thursday.
