Over 100 Trenton Kindergartners Got Late Start
Officials are trying to figure out how 102 kindergartners in Trenton will make up missing a month of school time.
The children were not placed into classes until Oct. 10 even though school in New Jersey's capital city began Sept. 6.
Trenton School Superintendent Francisco Duran tells The Times of Trenton most of the parents didn't register the children until after school had started.
Duran says by that time, kindergarten classes were full and the district just didn't have the classroom space.
