Our awesome evening at the Somerset Patriots game

I took these pics at yesterday's Somerset Patriots game. If you've never been there, you're missing out on a gem. My wife Aubree and I got these terrific seats just 7 rows back along the 1st base line with a killer view of the plate for only 23 bucks total. You just can't beat that!

If you have kids, the Somerset Patriots organization is so good at entertaining them not only before and after the game but between every inning that it's worth the ticket for that alone. Kids having birthdays were down on the field and up on the big screen as the entire stadium sang Happy Birthday to them. A Kindergarten class sang the national anthem. One of these pics is of kids on the field between innings doing a sack race. No wonder TD Bank Ballpark was recently voted as the best ballpark in all of Independent Minor League Baseball by Ballpark Digest.

The staff? Incredibly friendly. The food? Incredibly good! The crowd? Spirited. A total family atmosphere. I think this was the only ballpark I've been to without hearing a single bad word. Somerset dropped one 7 to 2 last night but no matter, it was such a fun time! Do yourself and your kids a favor and get to a Patriots game at TD Bank Ballpark this summer!
