A woman in North Dakota says she will not be handing out Halloween candy to kids if she feels they are "moderately obese," according to ValleyNewsLive.com. The busybody says she wants to send a message to the parents, who I guess she feels don't know their kid is overweight.

The article reported her as saying, "I think it's just really irresponsible of parents to send them out looking for free candy just 'cause all the other kids are doing it." Wow; make them eat healthily the other 364 days of the year; Halloween is all about the candy. The agreement is, and has been for years, that if you're a kid and you put on a costume to go door to door, the people answering the door will give you a piece of candy. That's the deal. The woman has remained anonymous, by the way, which is probably wise; if she weren't, her house would be getting egged, at the least.
