Today, we celebrated the career of Senator Joe Kyrillos who suddenly announced that he will not be seeking re-election in 2017.

We decided to give a proper send off to Senator Kyrillos, that we will make this an annual event in his honor. How else would we properly celebrate someone who spent thirty years in office, right? We figured on Joe Kyrillos Day, we could exchange 23 cents to celebrate the gas tax that the Senator stuck us with before leaving. Or, you could give a family, friend or coworker 25 cents and they could give you back 2 cents to truly re-enact the gas tax hike.

We even got the callers into the celebration and some called in with some great ideas for music to add as the soundtrack to "Joe Kyrillos Day." Again, what would a party be without music?

Here are some of the song suggestions we received from listeners and on Twitter:

John in Old Bridge - "My Way" - Frank Sinatra

Heather in Flanders - "Nah, Nah Hey hey Kiss Him Goodbye" by Steam

Bill in Easton - "Another One Bites the Dust" - Queen

Jim in Toms River - "Hey Joe" - Jimi Hendrix

What song would you add tot the playlist for "Joe Kyrillos Day?"
