Many schools across New Jersey will remain closed for a second day Tuesday as cleanup continues from Saturday's blizzard.

By mid-day Monday, several cancellations and delays for Tuesday had already been submitted to New Jersey 101.5's Stormwatch.

Ocean County Sheriff Mike Mastrnardy has spent many hours on the road during and after the blizzard and  said many people still are not finished digging out which includes sidewalks that would put children on already narrow streets and in harm's way. "Everybody's still plowing. We're still in clean up mode so I can understand not having school (Tuesday)."

Check back frequently, as the list will be updated throughout the night.

Our closing list is continuously updated at NJ1015.com/closings and in the New Jersey 101.5 mobile app.

While most major roadways were clear Monday, residents in several neighborhoods throughout the state said their local roads remained under heavy snow, and were impassable in some cases.
