Authorities say 11 people were hurt when a school bus and a sport utility vehicle collided in southern New Jersey, but none of the injuries were believed to be serious.

The crash occurred just after 4 p.m. Tuesday in National Park. Officials say 10 people were on the bus, while the SUV driver was alone in the vehicle.

Most of the injuries were reported to be bumps and bruises, and all 11 people were taken to hospitals as a precaution. Officials say the bus was carrying students from a West Deptford elementary school, but further details were not disclosed.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
