Born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Christie Rampone quickly set down Jersey roots in her childhood hometown of Pt. Pleasant, NJ.

While attending Point Pleasant Boro High School she competed in four sports; soccer, basketball and field hockey.

She received All-State Honors in every sport she competed in. Rampone decided to attend Monmouth University and competed as a three-sport athlete.

Rampone was first named to the U.S. Women’s Nation team in 1997. She represented the United States in the 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup and the 200, 2004 and 2008 Olympics.

The 2012 Olympics will be Rampone’s four Olympic games as a member of the U.S. Women’s National team.
