NJ Nursing Home Staffing Levels Now Available Online

Consumers in New Jersey can now go online to check the staffing level in nursing homes.

The state Department of Health announced Monday that first-quarter staffing reports for licensed nursing homes can be viewed on its website. The reports will be updated quarterly.

The system allows users to view staff-to-patient ratios for each shift, day or night. The reports also provide the state staffing average in each category. Nursing homes started giving the state data in January.
