NJ Man Sought in Boarding House Slaying
Southern New Jersey authorities are looking for a suspect they say killed a man who tried to break up a dispute in a boarding house.
Officials say 48-year-old John Carey was fatally shot late Tuesday night.
He lived in the Audubon boarding house where he was slain.
The Camden County Prosecutor's Office says 23-year-old Brandon Mosby of Camden was fighting with a woman who lives in the house and that the fight spilled into a common area where they say Carey tried to break it up.
Police say the woman in the dispute flagged down a passing car and got a ride away from the scene and that Mosby later fled, too.
He has been charged with murder.
