New PSA Aims to ‘Ban Bossy’ [VIDEO]

Beyonce, Jane Lynch and a few other celebrities banded together for a new PSA in an attempt to ban women being labeled as bossy. Is this a major issue that needs to be addressed?

The Girl Scouts of America and LeanIn.org have teamed up to launch Ban Bossy, a PSA that promotes women in leadership roles. The movement comes from the belief that young girls are discouraged from pursuing leadership roles because they would be viewed as being bossy.

BanBossy.com hopes that it will encourage young girls to go after what they want and to not be discouraged by teasing or what some may deem to be "nagging."  The goal is to give young girls the confidence to achieve whatever they want. To learn more about it, you can visit, Banbossy.com.
