The halftime show was seen by 115.3 million viewers according to Billboard.com. The performance, which was aided by an appearance by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, topped the previous record of 114 million. That was set by Madonna in 2012, when the New York Giants went on to beat the New England Patriots. Last year, Beyonce brought in 110 million viewers.
