The minimum wage in New Jersey is $7.25 with exceptions for tipped employees, some student workers and other exempt jobs.

Were you aware that college students, in certain instances can be paid 85% of the minimum wage? Also, depending on the job, if a worker is under the age of 18, may be completely exempt.
