The first ever New Jersey 101.5 Tri-County Spelling Bee is this Sunday in Edison!

We began this process back in October of 2011, planning and securing a date and a location to hold the first ever New Jersey 101.5 Tri-County Spelling Bee. We have 36 schools registered for this year's bee which will be held at Middlesex County College in Edison at 9am.

Schools from Mercer, Middlesex and Somerset Counties registered their schools with Scripps National Spelling Bee for their chance to compete with other top spellers from New Jersey to get their chance to take their skills to Washington D.C. to compete in the National Bee! It's a very exciting opportunity for these students; who range in grades 3rd through 8th.

We were lucky enough to secure Townsquare Media's own Wendy Wesley and Leanne Vuksanic to be judges for the bee along with Hudson County Prep Special Education teacher Carl Nastasi, and Ray 'The Prize Guy' to host.

Admission is completely free to the public to see some of best and the brightest from The Garden State!
