CHERRY HILL — A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car in South Jersey on Thursday night.

Police said three motorcyclists were traveling northbound on North Kings Highway (Route 41) when one struck a 2005 Lexus ES across from the Cherry Hill public library. The struck motorcycle bounced off the Lexus and into one of the other motorcycles, police said.

The motorcyclist that made initial contact with the Lexus died, police said. The third motorcyclist was not hurt and made no contact with the other vehicles.

The driver of the Lexus was hospitalized for minor injuries and released, police said.

Police asked anyone who saw the motorcyclists driving on Route 70, 73 and 295 before the crash to call 856-488-7820.
