Biography:

In 1987, Dr. Ghusson completed his cardiology fellowship at Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia and joined the staff at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. That same year he started what would become the corporation Hamilton Cardiology Associates. Dr Ghusson became an important part of the RWJH and the community. He is not only the founder of the RWJH Cath Lab and current Medical Director of the RWJH Cardiology Services Co-Management, but the former Chief of Staff, Former Vice Chief of Staff, Former Treasurer, Former Section Chief of Cardiology and Cath Lab Director of RWJH . In 2002, Dr. Ghusson received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Heart Association of Mercer County, New Jersey.
In 2012 he received the Spirit of St. Francis Medical Center Physician Award. In 2014, the RWJH Cardiac Catheterization Lab was dedicated in his honor, and he was named as the 2014 RWJH Hamilton Physician Honoree. In 2015 Dr. Ghusson was named Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton Physician Honoree.

Dr Ryder is the Medical Director of Hamilton Cardiology Associates ICANL Accredited Nuclear Cardiology Lab and Chairman of the Quality Committee. Dr. Ryder is the former President of the Medical Staff and former Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Dr. Ryder had previously served as a member of the RWJH Hamilton Board of Trustees and Professional Affairs Committee. Biography: Dr. Caplan has been in the Trenton area for 20 years and was the first Cardiac Electro physiologist to the area. Dr. Caplan has extensive experience and expertise in cardiac device management; the implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators and biventricular devices for resynchronization therapy; comprehensive electrophysiology studies and radiofrequency catheter ablative procedures as well as laser extraction procedures. Dr. John L. Caplan was the Medical Director of the Electrophysiology Laboratory at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, NJ for approximately 15 years. In addition he is the former Director, Department of Cardiology at St. Francis Medical Center. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases.

After completing an Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship at Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia, Dr. Caplan completed a Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. It was during this time that Dr. Caplan was a Major in the United States Air Force Reserves. He served as a Flight Surgeon and spent six months active duty during Desert Storm. Dr. Caplan is on staff at St. Francis Medical Center, Robert Wood Johnson at Hamilton, Capital Health System at Mercer and the Medical Center at Princeton. Dr. Caplan currently serves as a member of the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee and has served on the Credentials Committee at St. Francis Medical Center.
