An Opportunity in Atlantic City - As 3 casinos prepare to close down over the next month, including Revel, Atlantic City's newest and biggest gaming hall, Governor Christie is trying to look at the situation as an opportunity, not a calamity.

Another Night of Protests - Tuesday brought another night of protests in Ferguson, Missouri, following the fatal police shooting of a black 18-year-old. Meanwhile, Attorney General Eric Holder is set to travel to Ferguson to meet with FBI and other officials carrying out an independent federal investigation into the death of Michael Brown.

Meadowlands Gambling? - One lawmaker wants to ask you if you'd like to amend the constitution to allow slot machines at New Jersey's four racetracks. The revenue generated would be used to help revitalize Atlantic City and fund the state's beleaguered pension system.

Freehold Fatalities - A crash involving an SUV and two other vehicles in Freehold has left three dead and another person in critical condition. The accident occurred Tuesday afternoon on Kozloski Road at Route 33. Investigators remained at the scene Tuesday evening.

Missing Money - Nearly $21,000 is missing after the cash fell from the roof of an armored truck that had picked it up from Revel casino. Garda world armored car services picked up the cash on August 6. Surveillance video showed the bag holding the cash on the rear driver's side roof as the truck left Revel. It's not clear where the bag fell off.

Guilty Plea - A Middlesex County fire official appears in court for an accident that injured three children.

Final Date - New Jersey's Division of Gaming enforcement issued its final closing order for the Showboat on Monday night; the casino will shut down at 4 p.m. on Aug. 31.

Hundreds of workers who will lose their jobs at three Atlantic City casinos scheduled to close in the next few weeks, are looking for some divine intervention. Employees of Revel, the Showboat and Trump Plaza will hold a rally tonight followed by a prayer service at a nearby church...
