Troopers say 36-year-old Larry Boerner of Keyport, N.J. was arrested Wednesday after he was released from a hospital, where he was treated for injuries he sustained Sunday's crash.

Boerner is also charged with three counts of vehicular assault and other offenses.

Police say Boerner was traveling north in the southbound lanes of South DuPont Highway in New Castle. He crashed head-on into a car driven by 20-year-old Jerome Lewis of New Castle.

Boerner, Lewis, and two passengers in Boerner's car, including a 2-year-old boy, were taken to local hospitals.
