"American Idol's" Jermaine Jones was booted from the show, for allegedly concealing an arrest record and outstanding warrants according to a report issued by TMZ.

Jermaine Jones tweeted Monday night that he would not be on "American Idol" anymore.

According to an Associated Press report, he posted this on his official "American Idol" Twitter account: "Awww I will no longer b on the show."

The post was deleted, and Jermaine Jones' official "American Idol" Twitter account is no longer active.

A Fox spokeswoman declined to comment on the matter or confirm his tweet, says a report issued by The Associated Press.

Jermaine Jones was one of 13 finalists in this season's "American Idol."

Jermaine Jones was formerly a vocal instructor with Highest Praise Performing Arts Center and he's from Pine Hill, NJ.

Previously disqualified on "American Idol"

  • 2003:  Corey Clark was disqualified for concealing arrest record.
  • 2003:  Frenchie Davis booted because she had been featured on an adult website.
  • 2009:  Joanna Pacitti kicked off for possible conflict of interest reasons because of her professional connections in the industry.
  • 2010:   Chris Golightly excluded from competition for failure to disclose that he had a previous record deal.
