BURLINGTON — A jackknifed FedEx truck slowed the morning commute on a section of the New Jersey Turnpike.

Only the shoulder got by on the westbound NJ Turnpike/PA Turnpike Extension, approaching the Connector Bridge over the Delaware River, for most of the morning commute.

All lanes were reopened around 9 a.m.

State Police spokesman Trooper Alejandro Goez said no packages spilled onto the roadway but there was a fuel leak that needed to be cleaned up. The truck the only vehicle involved the incident and the driver was not seriously injured.

The incident remained under investigation.
