Is the NJ distracted driving crackdown about safety or a fundraiser? – Poll

In an effort to crackdown on distracted driving, New Jersey is participating in a national campaign to target offenders. But is safety the key motivating factor here?

Dennis and Judi both believe that these national campaigns are nothing more than glorified fundraisers masked in the words "safety." If it was really about safety, wouldn't they make the points you accrue on your license much more severe, if it was so extremely dangerous?

Dennis and Judi don't even have a problem with the crackdown if they just called it what it is. Their issue is with municipalities dangerous, illegal and irresponsible.
