Griswolds Reunite for Television Series

Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo - you loved them as the Griswolds, but can you see them as retired grandparents?

ABC is looking to produce a television series that will reunite Chase and D’Angelo from the classic “National Lampoon’s Vacation” movies.

According to Deadline, Chase and D'Angelo will play a retired couple raising their grandchildren, even though they're both extremely selfish. A writer has not been hired to script the series, but executive producer Aaron Kaplan is hoping to have it ready for the 2015-2016 development season. Chase last appeared in the first four seasons of "Community," while D'Angelo's last TV credit was a recurring role on "Entourage."
