It’s a fairly common occurrence these days.

The Governor starts “buggin’ out” on some reporter or audience member at a town hall meeting perhaps trying to either upstage him, or ask him a question he thinks is “dumb.” Either way it makes for some great footage.

And we’ve come to expect it from him.

Sort of an endearing quality…something we haven’t had in a governor, nor in any politician for that matter, in a very long time.

And he’s told us, time and time again…this is who he is, ike it or not. His “BS tolerance” is pretty low!

But one wonders, as I do, if despite all that, the job might be getting to him somewhat.

...reporters were told that Christie would only be answering questions about Friday's collapse of three large water pipes at NJ American Water’s treatment plant at Swimming River Reservoir and the subsequent boil water alert in 22 towns, one journalist tried to ask about the special joint session of the Legislature that the governor has called for Monday.

When the reporter said, "Governor, on Monday are you going to be addressing the legislature," Christie interrupted and replied, "Did I say on topic? Are you stupid? On topic, on topic. Next question."

The same reporter then said "Yes" and "No, I'm not stupid" to Christie's questions and then began to ask, "How many days will you have them come back" before he was again cut off by the governor.

Christie said, "Thank you all very much and I'm sorry for the idiot over there. Take care." before walking away.

This isn’t the first, and probably won’t be the last time he’ll have an outburst.

And for as much fun as it could be watching him “bug”, fact is, in my opinion, the job might be getting to him.

I think maybe his inner circle needs to tell him to dial it down a bit....at their own peril!

What do you think about this? Take the poll and let your voice be heard.
