Carol Reiff's body was found in a wooded area near her home in the Lakeview Apartments in Gloucester Township on June 24.

Authorities say an autopsy failed to determine how the 59-year-old died because the body was badly decomposed. While the death has not been ruled a homicide, the case is considered a criminal investigation.

Reiff's family reported her missing after she failed to visit her daughter Dawn Centanni in  Manahawkin. Centanni, 40, is spearheading the effort to find out how her mother died. “We know there is someone out there who has information,” Centanni said at a press conference according to the Courier Post. Centanni and her mother spoke daily and she did not hear from her on the day she disappeared.

We were so very close. It was not like her to not respond to messages. Even though it was a very small amount of time, she would have contacted me probably several times in that small period," Centanni according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Reiff was laid to rest in her hometown of Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. Her obituary says she worked for Admiral Insurance Company of Cherry Hill and was an avid runner and was grandmother to 3.

The family is also looking to increase the amount of their reward. Contributions can be sent via check to Camden County Prosecutor’s Office at 25 N. 5th Street, Camden, NJ, 08102. Donors should write, “Carol Reiff Reward Fund” as a note on checks.

Anyone with information regarding Reiff's death should call the Camden County Prosecutor's Office at (856) 225-8653or Gloucester Township Police at (856) 228-4500.
