A former New Jersey Boy Scout leader accused of possessing and distributing child pornography has pleaded not guilty.

Stephen Corcoran entered the plea Tuesday night during an appearance in Morris Plains Municipal Court. The judge accepted the plea and there transferred the matter to state Superior Court in Morris County.

Prosecutors say the 44-year-old Corcoran invited another man to his Morris Plains home and showed him pornographic images of boys.

Authorities say such images were also found on Corcoran's computer.

Corcoran remains free on the $50,000 bail he posted shortly after his arrest last Friday.
