Couple Found Shot to Death in NJ Park
Authorities say a couple found shot to death in a northern New Jersey park had a dating relationship.
Officials say the shooting appears to be isolated and doesn't pose a threat to the community. However, they have not termed it a murder-suicide.
Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn Murray says Montclair police responded to reports of shots in Canterbury Park around 10 p.m. Thursday.
The prosecutor says they found 24-year-old Shanae Howard of Orange and her 26-year-old boyfriend, Brandon Brown, of Montclair dead.
A weapon was found at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
