Colonial Christmas and Holiday Open House

See period furnishings and holiday décor and an exhibition of paintings by noted landscape artist John Phillip Osborne (courtesy of the Stringer Gallery in Bernardsville). Holiday Parade in Atlantic City

When: Saturday, December 1, 2012

Where: Atlantic Avenue, ATLANTIC CITY, NJ

Featuring a large lineup of Floats, local marching bands, civic groups and of course an appearance by Santa Claus, the Holiday Parade will travel south on Atlantic Avenue beginning at Maine Avenue and will end at Michigan and Baltic Avenue at Tanger Outlets The Walk. Parade begins at Noon. Arrive between 6am and 10am and park for free at The Wave parking garage located on Mississippi and Fairmount Avenues.

A Very Merry Spring Lake


When: Saturday, December 1, 2012

Where: Various Locations (see below), SPRING LAKE, NJ

Tour the decorated historic inns of Spring Lake from 3:30pm -7:00pm and shop at the Christmas boutique at the Ocean House. Inn Tour tickets are $25.00 and include a complimentary afternoon tea at the Breakers from 2pm – 3:30pm shop at the Christmas boutique at the Ocean House. West Cape May Christmas Parade

Where: West Cape May – downtown CAPE MAY, NJ

Kick-off the holiday season with an evening of family fun at one of Cape May County’s favorite Christmas parades featuring marching bands, floats filled with Christmas lights, fire trucks, Santa’s Workshop and more. The parade begins at 5pm at the West Cape May Fire Hall and proceeds south on Broadway to West Perry and to the Washington St. Mall throughout downtown Cape May. 25th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

Where: Gazebo / Municipal Field on Main Street in CHESTER, NJ

With entertainment and music including a live band and acapella singing, the annual Christmas tree lighting in Chester, NJ begins at 5pm. Kids are invited to visit with Santa and people of all ages are welcome to take part in the holiday festivities and to enjoy great refreshments and plenty of good cheer. Join in downtown Millburn’s 29th annual Snowflake parade beginning at 1: 30pm at Millburn Avenue and Main Street. Bring a toy for the Millburn Police Department’s collection for “Toys for Tots” and enjoy the holiday-themed floats and family fun at the parade! After the parade, visit with Santa and enjoy free refreshments in the Courtyard. | More info

Festival of Trees

Where: Red Mill Museum Village, 56 Main Street, CLINTON, NJ

Bring the family to the annual extravagant holiday display of dozens of trees and wreaths designed by local businesses, organizations and individuals.
