Bruce Springsteen is kicking off his book tour in Freehold!

Bruce Springsteen proves you can go home again, as he's launching his new book tour in Monmouth County! The Boss is releasing his autobiography, "Born to Run," on Sept. 27 and is kicking things off in his hometown of Freehold.

Bruce and the E Street Band are wrapping up The River tour this week in Massachusetts, after playing Pittsburgh on Sunday and two memorable shows in Philadelphia last week.

The first night in Philly now holds the title of longest U.S. show for the crew, clocking in at just under four hours and four minutes.
