Bon Jovi is Rock and Roll Hall of Fame bound. After logging well over a MILLION fan votes recently in support, the band tops the Class of 2018. Jon Bon Jovi posted a video thanks, slyly noting the honor is "a long time coming."

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony will be in Cleveland on April 14. A Bon Jovi reunion could be brewing, as Richie Sambora already has said he would love to share the stage with his old band mates.

The sons of Jersey are joined by The Cars, Dire Straits, Moody Blues, Nina Simone and early influence inductee, Sister Rosetta Tharpe.

Reaction was quick on social media, among legions of fans, peers and Jersey venues. (I couldn't resist chiming in, myself!)

So, when can we clamor for tickets? On-sale dates will be announced in January. it's a bummer that the 2018 ceremony isn't just across the Hudson River in NYC. But, the Rock Hall is under 500 miles away, from the band's old stomping grounds in Sayreville.

If you can't swing the road trip to Ohio, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will have its TV premiere on HBO, sometime after the April festivities.

As part of the Rock Hall news celebration, fans now are waiting on two new tunes from Bon Jovi. Jon teased the tracks on Facebook live, just over a week ago.
