Body found in Hamilton ID’d, ruled a homicide

The body found Tuesday morning in a Mercer County park has been identified by the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office.

Acting Prosecutor Angelo Onofri said in a statement the body found in Roebling Park in Hamilton has been identified as Jessica  Prusik, 38,  of Hamilton Township.

Her death was ruled a homicide following an autopsy. Onofri did not provide details about how Prusik died or how her body wound up in the park run.

Police descended on the park after the body was discovered in a weeded area of the park.They also checked out several houses within the park.

The park is located off Route 206, not far from the interchange between Interstates 195 and 295.
