Today on the show, we discussed a report that says drivers are still distracted even when using hands-free devices.

Since technology has changed over the years, is it time that we start teaching new drivers how to get along when you are distracted while driving? If you can't stop drivers from using their phones or their hands-free devices, wouldn't it be a good idea to at least teach them how to deal with the distractions or adverse conditions in a car?

Secondly, with all the technology now in vehicles, it can also be overwhelming and difficult for older drivers. At what age, if at all, should we think about re-testing drivers? Shouldn't drivers prove that their driving skills haven't diminished and that they are capable of handling distractions and newer technology?
