Even though there's a movement pushing the flu shot, many of us still refuse to get it.

Are you getting the flu shot? Why or why not?

Patel, a caller from Old Bridge, said the flu shot isn't always effective because the virus strands change according to the season.

Dave from Union Beach and Heidi from Frenchtown both shared that the shot created more health problems than it solved. In Dave's case, it worsened an existing disease. In Heidi's, it caused another disease.

Laura, a mom from Lambertville, said she's cautious about giving her kids the flu shot because no one knows what actually causes autism.

Ultimately, it comes down to personal choice. You have to make the decision yourself, which is why this conversation is worth having.
