POINT PLEASANT — An alert was issued for a male who exposed himself to two 12-year-old girls on Tuesday, the fourth such incident since spring.

The girls were walking on Dorsett Dock Road, near Old Drift Road, around 5 p.m. when they encountered the man in the residential neighborhood, not far from Bridge Avenue and Beaver Dam Road, according to Point Pleasant Police. They quickly walked away.

The man is described as a white male in his late teens to early 20s, standing approximately 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9, and a little overweight. He was clean-shaven, wearing a black, short-sleeve shirt with no writing or designs, and blue basketball-type shorts.

A suspect with a similar description exposed himself in March to a girl on Cohocton Avenue, and a week later on Barton Avenue north of Herbertsville Road. On a third occasion, a man exposed himself to a 15-month old girl in early April, in the area of Barton and Cedar Avenues.

Police did not yet return a message asking if there's a connection between the incidents.

Police asked anyone with information about the most recent incident to call 732-892-0060.
