Andrew Dice Clay tells Trev: I brought the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle to comedy

The Diceman Cometh to Jersey! One of the '80s biggest comedians, Andrew Dice Clay, joined Steve to talk comedy and how Dice's resurgence on the comedy stage is "deja vu all over again."

Tickets go on sale today for his show on May 20 at the Welmont Theater. Clay reminisced with Steve about what comedy was like in the '80s and '90s and how before then there were "rock stars" and "movie stars," but no "comedy stars." Clay vowed that he would be "the biggest stand up in the world," and it's because of this mentality that he was able to change the game.

Clay urged how important performance is when it comes to comedy. Mixing great writing with a strong performance is what helped him become a "rock 'n roll comedy star." It's a very introspective Dice that will definitely bring the funny when he comes to Jersey!
