A Dog Named Riot Needs Your Help

You know how the internet, social media, and fund raising websites have been changing the world? There are infertile couples who've even turned to fundraising from strangers to help them start a family. Well, here's another example. This one is about a dog. Through the website gofundme.com this woman is trying to get a beloved dog home to New Jersey.

Here's her story in her own words through the site.

We need to get our pup home. My husband is military and is getting out after his 5 years of serving his country and we just found out our dog is to big for the largest cage they allow on any airplane or airline .We will need to ship him from fairbanks, alaska to Nj, which is going to cost us around $1000 or more. We just dont have that kind of money so we are trying to raise it so we dont have to leave our dog in alaska. We have a 3 yr old that absolutly loves her doggy and is also upset and doesnt understand that he cant come with us. She think she will see him in new jersey. She is very attached to Riot and it would break her heart and mine to leave him here. We had no idea it could cost this much to get our dog home, and we didnt know it would be so difficult to find a way. if we did know we would have for sure saved the money up for the past months. We just need help. He is part of our family and we love him and I cannot imagine not bringing our fur baby home with us. We leave alaska on july 23rd so we are really out of time. Anything helps n if we cant get him home everyones money will be refunded. I just cant give up n let my pup stay here in alaska. He deserves to come with us, hes part of our family.
