5 Jersey Shore Landmarks Prince Harry Should Visit [LIST]

Prince Harry will be in New Jersey on Tuesday. He wants to see the part of the Jersey Shore that Superstorm Sandy hit the hardest. He’ll be accompanied by Governor Christie when he tours “ground zero” of the storm, Mantoloking. He’ll also be stopping by Seaside Heights to see the progress of Restore The Shore. We figured since Harry will be at the Shore, he might as well get the full experience. That’s why we asked you on Facebook to name a landmark or hot spot in Monmouth & Ocean counties that is a must for the Prince to see.

Tell us in the comment section below what spots you would suggest!

Now, based on your votes, here are your top 5!

Martell’s Tiki Bar – Point Pleasant Beach

Ladies, order Prince Harry a couple of “Tiki Teas,” use some of that patented Jersey Girl charm and you may be on your way back to England! Defining “Jersey Strong” and after being wiped out by Sandy, the Tiki Bar is repaired and in full operation.

D’Jai’s – Belmar

Unfortunately for Prince Harry, what happened in Vegas didn’t stay in Vegas. The same usually applies after a night at D’Jais. Hey, it happens. If there’s going to be any royal fist pumping, it should be going down on Ocean Ave. in Belmar

Stone Pony – Asbury Park

England has a rich rock ‘n’ roll musical history, but we must school young Harry on the Jersey music scene. And what better place to do that than the birthplace of Bruce, Southside and many others, The Stone Pony. We’ll have him belting out “Born To Run” in no time.

Hoffman’s Ice Cream – Point Pleasant

Is Harry man enough to take on Hoffman’s Octopus sundae? 8 scoops of ice cream, 8 different toppings, one spoon. Would he be able to conquer the frozen monster in less than 8 minutes and proudly take his t-shirt back to the U.K.? Regardless, if you’re going to do ie cream at the Jersey Shore, it’s got to be Hoffman’s.

Pete & Elda’s – Neptune

Let’s face it, when it comes to the best pizza at the Jersey Shore there’s some stiff competition. There’s the boardwalk slice, there’s your local mom and pop down the street…and then there’s Pete & Elda’s. You have not been to the Jersey Shore unless you’ve experienced the best thin slice on the planet. Then again, Pizza Hut is  considered gourmet in England, so I’m guessing it wouldn’t take a lot to impress the Prince.
