It was 45 years ago this weekend that a music event transcended music.

The official title was The Woodstock Music and Art Fair, An Aquarian Exposition.

This weekend marks the 45th anniversary of Woodstock.  It's a milestone anniversary that has become a slice of American history.

I'm sure most of you know the back stories and possibly people  who actually attended the "intimate" gathering on Max Yasgur's farm in Bethel, New York from August 15th through the 18th 1969.

The talent and performances at Woodstock were arguably the best that ever happened.  For me the most incredible element of that historical weekend were the half million attendees.

All of those people.  No violence.

If you ran out of food or water, no problem.  Someone a few feet away would be more than happy to share.

Ya know, there maybe something to be said about "those damn hippies."

In tribute, please enjoy the following videos.

If you have your own Woodstock story, tell us about it.

Peace and love to all.
